Feel the bay

The bay of Roses is considered one of the most beautiful in the world. It is part of of the Association of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World. Four municipalities surround the bay: Roses, Castelló d'Empúries - Empuriabrava, Sant Pere Pescador and l'Escala.

The region offers a large number of high points to admire its beauty and great proportions. It is not a coincidence that this bay was the entry point for the Greek and Roman civilisations. You can still see their vestiges in l'Escala and Roses.

The surrounding area is ideal for water sports such as windsurfing, kitesurfing and sailing.

Not to be missed: birdwatching at the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà Natural Park, visiting the Greco-Roman ruins of Empúries, strolling through the medieval village of Castelló d'Empúries, sailing along the canals of Empuriabrava, tasting the anchovies of L'Escala, the Suquet de Peix of Roses and sweet the apples of Sant Pere Pescador, skydiving, taking a quiet bike ride...
