MTB Roses - Vilaüt
A family MTB adventure through two unique and very close landscapes. Enjoy the tranquility of the first section, crossing a flat part with ponds and pastures until you reach the Vilaüt pond, in the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà Natural Park.
Continue towards the Rodes mountain range, passing through the charming village of Pau. You can stop at Palau-Saverdera, known as Empordà’s Balcony, to admire the panoramic views of the region.

1. When you leave the Ciutadella, you have to cross the road by a pedestrian crossing.
2. At the start, you’ll find the ford across the Riera de la Trencada stream which may be flowing with water if it has rained the day before.
3. Take care at the various points where you cross county roads.
4. The farm tracks can be used by people, bicycles or farm vehicles.
5. Respect the rules of the Aiguamolls Natural Park when you enter the Nature Reserve area.
6. You can’t take your cycles right up to the door of the hide at Lake Vilaüt.
7. Respect the livestock and do not leave gates or fences open.
8. Be careful when passing through the town of Pau as the streets are narrow.

The marked routes on the trails are merely informative, and, as such, the Town Hall of Roses is not to be held liable for the accidents occurred whilst using said trails. When using the trails, it is recommended to do so with the proper equipment and material, keeping the prior recommendations in mind.
